Lord Krishna in the 21st Century

Immediately below is the entire book, "Lord Krishna in the 21st Century." Except for some minor changes, everything you are about to read was written many years ago. And yes, although there have been enormous advancements in technology since 1990, our mission regarding Krishna Disaster Relief is still the same and meaningful as ever.
Regarding this advancement in technology (what to speak of cellphone and computers), I once read about a machine that FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) had mounted on a flat-bed truck. This device sucks air into it and out comes pure drinking water, even in the desert. As you read, you will understand where and how this would come into play. Since I first became aware of this technology, these air-to-water machines have become smaller in size, more affordable, and much more efficient at "making water."
As of 2025, “Krishna Disaster Relief” was founded 35 years ago and as you can see I am still beating its drum. After my loving wife passed away a year ago and now turning 79 years old, more than likely I only have one shot in life left within me. This is why I took a significant portion of the inheritance that my wife left me and hired Blue Field Law who specializes in the formation of State & Federal non-profit corporations. Two months ago I signed a contract with Blue Field Law to legally establishing Krishna Disaster Relief as a 501 (C)(3) non-profit disaster relief agency.
Although “Lord Krishna In The 21st Century” only takes a few hours to read I guarantee that you won't find it lacking in grandeur. It is a book that starts with a vision of sorts that I had at a 4th-of-July parade in Denver, Colorado. But actually the most important theme of my book focuses on the dreams of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. This is what every word in this book revolves around and supports; achieved by providing love, kindness and support to those deeply affected by natural and man-made disasters.
Actually, I consider this book more like a formula or a blueprint. For me it is a formula that in part states: "right actions produce right results." In this case, the right result is the fulfillment of Shrila Prabhupada's fondest wish—or, if I may, "his dream."
And believe me, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand this formula. Of course, Prabhupada's fondest dream rested upon the very thing he was most fond, his Krishna. Because of this love he came to America to share this wonderful person with us. This was his mission: to introduce us to God (Lord Krishna) and to awaken our love for Him. Prabhupada said, “Because I love Krishna, I want everybody - the whole world to love Krishna, too.”
As it should be, this is my only interest in forming Krishna Disaster Relief: a means to an end. For me, his dream is Shrila Prabhupada.
I sincerely believe that anyone interest in Krishna Disaster Relief should read what I've written. It is a blueprint that contains a formula for presenting Lord Krishna to the world; "as He is." It is also a book that reveals what will happen if this is done. When reading this book please keep in mind what Shrila Prabhupada wanted and that we have two tremendous things going for us to see Prabhupada's dream come true. One is that "God is the Greatest Person." My book takes a little different spin on this and says that "God is the Greatest Hero." The second thing we have is the fact that "everyone loves a hero." These are two, undeniable and very powerful truths.
This is getting down to the essence of what this book is all about.
Please spend a few hours with me and let’s go down the "Krishna Disaster Relief" rabbit hole together and see where it takes us. All I have done is connect the dots.
Prabhupada's overwhelming desire was to see the entire world loving Lord Krishna and my only interest is to fulfill this dream. Lord Krishna is the "Greatest Hero" and "everyone loves a hero."

Finally I want to make it very clear that Krishna Disaster Relief is NOT an ISKCON project. Rather we are a fully independent, non-profit, 501 (C)(3) disaster-relief organization. I am a disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta. Sumati d.d. is also Prabhupada's disciple. She spent a good 40 years serving ISKCON and we are both founding members of Krishna Disaster Relief. As for the future, I am sure that many ISKCON devotees, both within and without will become involved. For example, Raghava Chaitanya dasa (who was asked by Shrila Prabhupada to translate his Bhagavada-gita As It Is into Spanish) was blessed with a significant amount of Prabhupada's personal association. I have known Raghava for 30 years and his love and dedication to Shrila Prahupada is one of my guiding lights. Raghava Prabhu is an ardent supporter and wonderful friend of Krishna Disaster Relief, blessing us with his prayers and frequent visits.
