Lord Krishna in the 21st Century

Most likely you have seen a television report describing a major disaster in some part of the world. In fact, while writing this chapter the morning news was completely occupied with images of the massive flooding and destruction in the Ohio River Valley. Earlier in the week the news was full of images from Kentucky and the tornadoes that caused so much damage.

In many ways an actual disaster site is like a huge stage. But unlike the fake sets in Hollywood these are real stages with real life & death drama. At times the "disaster stage" is quite small. At other times it can consume hundreds or thousands of square miles.

Even so, many aspects about the "disaster stage" are similar to those in Hollywood (or at a rock concert) and by making some comparisons you will better understand some of the building blocks that this book is based on.

Again, a disaster site is just like a huge, real-life stage and on this stage you will find drama, various actors playing various roles, cameras, reporters, directors, and very tight security. Most importantly, what happens on this "disaster stage" is given the highest priority as "Breaking News" and the unfolding events are immediately broadcast onto the Internet, television stations, newspapers, and radios the world over.

It just seems to me that if Lord Krsna is in fact the Greatest Hero, then logically He should be the first responder to "come to the rescue." If not, then what does it mean when we say that God is the greatest?

Of course He is the Greatest Hero. This is what this book is all about: "Presenting Lord Krsna to the entire world, as He is." The rest of this book will show how this can be done and what will happen when we do it.
