Lord Krishna in the 21st Century

Chapter 6 - The Prelude
After what I had just experienced at the 4th of July parade and then being allowed by the highway patrol to cross their roadblock, gradually I was beginning to grasp the tremendous importance of what I am about to set forth in this book.
For a very meaningful purpose I was given the opportunity to experience and appreciate the events that I am writing about; then not giving up, writing about them in this book, and now in 2025 only one step away from seeing Krishna Disaster Relief's 501 (C)(3) non-profit certificate hanging on the wall. These events would include many things such as walking down an underground tunnel on a secure government family to meet with Mr. Bobby Baines from the American Red Cross & FEMA (discussed later); going to Washington, D.C. to attend FEMA's annual meeting; giving prasadam to Army troops in Colorado Springs at the site of a deadly airplane crash; the founding of Krishna Disaster Relief; some of our members feeding the victims of a firestorm in Oakland, California; receiving a phone call from the head of Denver's Salvation Army asking that Krishna Disaster Relief immediately respond to a massive fire at Stapleton International Airport (discussed later); and finally, some years later, with the help of my wonderful wife, being able to buy our little home in Texas, and then a computer to write this book on.

March 3, 1991: This is a photo I took of United Airlines Flight 585, that crashed inside a deserted park, just missing all the homes that surrounded it. Although 25 people died, because there was not that much damage I mainly passed out prasadam to the police, military and news reporters.
